hello I to am researching the name of my maiden name elsby they lived in bradwall cheshire I do have some info
-
Hi! Thanks for your reply.
My interest in the surname 'Elsby' is my GG Grandmother, Sarah Elsby b. 1855 in Wolstanton, Staffordshire. Sarah married Henry James Fereday, they had a number of children together including my Great Grandfather, of course. I have been intensly researching Sarah. I have had much success in recent months: Her parents were George and Rachel Elsby (nee Bridgens). I am now aware of all of her siblings and most of their partners and some children. I also have additional info concerning Sarah's Elsby and Bridgens grandparents.

Hi Steve,
I am not sure if you still use this site but I have picked up on some of your old posts and saw you were researching Morrey and Pool in Stoke.
I am researching my wife's family history and am looking for information on Ronald Morrey who lived in Burslem Stoke. I believe he died in 1985. There are links to an Ellen POOLE (nee Whalley). I think he was born in 1925 and may have married a Prudence Parker in 1951. Any information you have would be most welcome.

May I sneak in and add my present research interests in Staffs:
BOULTON
HAWTHORNE

Just a reminder...
The easiest way to make surname connections with other members is to enter your surname interests
in the Surname Interests Table (SIT), and to check there whether others are researching these names.
This can be found at http://surname.rootschat.com/ , there is a link to it at the top of each Rootschat page.

The more people who enter their surnames, the more chance there will be of making a connection!
