hello,

I have a George DOWDELL in my tree born 28 Jan 1879 in Wylye, Wiltshire.  Married Grace SWANBOROUGH on 7th Oct 1805 in Overton, Wiltshire.  They had a daughter Elizabeth born in 1822.  Do you think this is your same George Dowdell?

No sorry not my George, although i did originally follow that line.
my George Dowdell married his cousin Anne Terry Dowdle.
