THOMAS CURTIS born 1847/1848 in Dalkey-------his wife MARY ANNE ADAMS born 1850--------they had five children-Thomas,James,Frederick,Gardiner and Elizabeth--------anyone know of them or their descendants-many thanks June

Hello June,
What denomination were the Adams and Curtis families?
You'll have to rely on Church records as civil registration in Ireland was not introduced until 1864. Non Catholic marriages were registered from 1845 onwards. When registration for BDMS started in 1864 some people didn't bother with the registration for a few years after that date. Keep your fingers crossed that church records still exist.

Griffiths Valuation - which was done around the 1850s - lists two Curtis entries in Dalkey.
Curtis Patrick, Dalkey, Dublin
Curtis Thomas, Dalkey Commons, Dalkey, Dublin
