This picture was taken about 1954? My cousin Robert Stewart is 3rd from the right.
Does anyone recognise any of the other children?

Terrific photo. Please could someone put it up in St Marys church hall and request the names to be added, alternatively the school should have a year book with all the names. Is there someone living in the area who would be willing to take on this task? Regards

That photo of St Mary's Duntocher is actually Duntocher Public School. My sister Madeleine Turnbull is the third from the right in the second row from the front. It must have been taken in 1953 because we came to Australia that year. The teacher is Mrs. Bex.

Hi All, this is the public school, I think this photo was taken when the prefab classrooms were being demolished at St Marys. Goldenhill school didn't open till 1955. I would think children are a mixture of Duntocher and Hardgate pupils.
-
....oops! I also think that the teacher is Mrs Parkinson, who went on to teach at St Mary's.
-
this photograph is not st marys school but duntocher public school the teacher is mrs bex whose husband owned the garage across from sammy kerrs garage i went to school with robert stewart

Hi Freya47, This photo appeared on Facebook. One of the pupils has
identified most of the pupils. It was Duntocher Public School and the teacher was Mrs Becks.
-
This picture was taken at Duntocher primary school in 1952. The teacher was Mrs Bex. That's me, Peter Fabrizio, on the top row, second from the right. Other names I can remember from these days are Alex McCready and David Somerville, who will also be in the picture.
