Just a quick reminder to let everyone know that the Seventh Gravett Gathering family reunion will take place in Chichester, West Sussex on 26th and 27th July. Here is an outline of the planned events for the weekend.
SATURDAY:
Morning:
We will meet at the West Sussex Record Office between 9-10am where Marion Woolgar and myself will be get everyone settled in. We will spend the morning there exchanging notes and seeking out new material. This will be the perfect opportunity to look up any information you may be missing about a Gravett member of your family, or someone related to the Gravetts.
NB: To use the search room at the WSRO you must have a CARN ticket. If you don’t have one please remember to bring two forms of id with you, one with your name and address on (driving licence, bank statement, passport) and one with a photograph on. CARN tickets are free and are used by most archives and record offices now.
Afternoon:
At around 1pm move to St Pancras Church Hall for the afternoon session. From 1.30 onwards there will be refreshments available including tea and coffee, plus some snacks and nibbles “old and new”. We will continue to go over our various trees and exchange info over coffee; this is the perfect chance to get to know your Gravett cousins.
Evening:
We finish at the hall at about 5pm when we will end the day with a meal at a local restaurant..
SUNDAY
Morning:
We will be starting the day with another small tour of Gravett related towns and villages including some areas where we find some of the earliest Gravett references. Unless specified otherwise of the Saturday we will meet out side St Pancras Church Hall at about 10am.
Afternoon:
In the afternoon we will once again be at St Pancras Church hall to exchange notes, and look over any new material found at the WSRO. Once again tea and coffee will be available.
The Gravett Gathering will end at about 5pm.

All Gravett researchers are welcome as well as anyone researching variations of the name (such as Grevett, Gravatt, Grevatt etc). We look forward to seeing you all.

hello
i hope that you don't mind me contacting you in this way. I just wondering if any of the findings regarding Grevatt Family history had been published anywhere online? I would be interested to see how my ancestors may tie in. Many Thanks
