I have recently discovered that Talana museum has some documents appertaining to a relative of mine, so a few weeks ago I sent them an email asking how I should go about retrieving the information, or could they email it to me. Has anybody submitted a similar application to this museum, and if so, have you ever had any results? I look forward to any response, be it positive, or negative! Peep.

Talana is a busy museum and they receive numerous enquiries. Depending on what type of information is required, it may take some time for them to respond. This is the case with most museums in SA, all of which are short-staffed. Months of patience may be needed, not weeks!
I have a phone number for Talana Museum - might be worth making direct contact? (034) 212 2654

Many thanks for the reply. They made contact with me last week. Peep.
