Hi,
I am looking for Owen Hoey and family in 1901 who was living in Summer Hill and then Lwr Gardiner St. Northside. If any one can help, will be great. Thanks,

Sorry to say, but there were no results for that name. Could the name have been written in another way at the time as I can get nothing for the name as it stands!

This seems to be the only family listed on-line on Gardiner St the Head is William aged 55
You gave no indication of Owen's age or if he would have been the head or a child
This could help narrow your search

Wiser65, who posted the original query, hasn't been online since 2008. Since the request both 1901 and 1911 census records and other Irish resources have been put online.

Thank you for your replies. I found more info and discovered the spelling of the surname is Howey and stayed that way. Owen appears to have died in 1891. Thanks anyway!

I found some Howey on this link. Just type in the surname but not a particular year and you will have all the references to the name. Be warned there are not many.

Thanks Dillon,
This will come in handy later when I can identify family members.
Thanks again
