Hello,
Could someone with access please be so kind to have a look for a William HART in 1851? I believe he was living in Larbert at the time and would have been about 80. I have very little information about him and the family so everything would help.
I would also be interested in the family in 1841 or even 1861 if he was still alive at the time.
As always, all of your help if really appreciated!

No sign on the 1861
There is a 19 year old John Sutherland son of John and Margaret A Sutherland in Larbert on the 1861 - minus the girls but with 2 younger children Angus and Alexander.
Maybe Margaret A was the daughter of William Hart - she was born in 1805 in Larbert
This family was also in Larbert on the 1841

Maybe just a co-incidence . . . . . .
In Larbert Old Parish Churchyard there is a stone which has the following inscription:
"1864
JEAN HART in memory of JOHN SUTHERLAND her husband
Born the 30th November 1800 died the 23rd February 1863
MARGARET SUTHERLAND died 2nd February 1877 aged 44 years
The above JEAN HART died 16th May 1886 aged 79 years"
I checked the pre-1855 MI's for any others which might have been in Larbert (there in the 60's but not there now) but there weren't any others. I also checked Larbert East and Bothkennar Churchyards bur none there either.

Don't think that is a co-incidence, Anne :)
We will have to see what Raymond thinks
