Do you mean the Birth, Marriage and Death Index from 1837 on?   They used to be kept at St Catherine's House in London so were called the St Catherine's index many years ago.    They are now available to search on ancestry and other paying sites.

It sounds like a site for newbies really.

You are paying for someone to do your searching and explain why a search has failed.

They do not fully expalin what 'extra resources' they have at their disposal.

The majority of their resources are available in the public domain, so you are paying for someone to trawl those resources.

Hmmm.

This site does not seem as if it would add to anything you can get on Ancestry (as you already have it) or elsewhere.

It is just paying for research, and they do not really say who they are.

They are selling BMD certs for double the actual price - £14.95 !

It will not get you more info; use Ancestry to the utmost, and the IGI; when you need Parish Records, there are many available free, or you can ask on here. or join a Family History Society for your area.

Or do it yourself, which is half the fun.
