Title: Ledley Surname

I am looking for a lady by the name of Helen Ledley
she is the third wife of ggrandfather George Mooney
I have their marriage cert
they were married  in Greenock in 1912
he was 50years old
she was 26
I have searched in SP for Ledley's there are 10 female births
2 of them Helen's but their not the right one their birthdates are 1915 and 1918
there are only 19 births in total on SP for this surname
is there somewhere this would be a common name

As you have the marriage cert, could you post the name of Helen's father and his occupation
also witneses names may be a help

She may have een called Ellen -which is often miswritten as Helen

I have looked for Ellen Ledley too
I have relatives called Lappin but they are on paternal grandfathers side

I have a Thomas Ledley b1854 married Ellen Gunning in 1874. Their son Robert was a sea captain and emigrated to Australia.

Have struggled to find anyone else on this side of the family
