Title: Emigrants to New York lookup please

Can anybody find records of Thomas M Dennison born c1853 England, Elizabeth Dennison born c 1855 England and Barbara Eleanor Dennison born c1878 England emigating to USA in about 1879.
They appeared in the New York census in 1880.
I am assuming that they arrived in New York but do not know where they departed from.

If they arrived in New York you can search the indexes yourself at www.castlegarden.org but passenger lists for that period give little detail- usually name, age, occupation and country of origin.
