Hello

I am trying to find James Calder in the 1871 census.

I have him in 1861 living in Mortlach, age 39 yrs, Rail Lab, Bn. Inveravon

With him were wife Elizabeth, 40 yrs bn Kirkmichael and dt's Elizabeth, Margaret and Isabella all bn Mortlach.

So far I have "lost" him and his family after 1861 so any help would be very appreciated.

Wondered if you ever got any further with this family?
I am a decendant of Margaret McLean with whom James Calder had Jane Calder born 1847 Boharm.

I have found one of James Calder and Elizabeth Stewart's children in 1891 Margaret Gordon Calder born 1856 Mortlach. Still hunting for the rest!


Jane
