Hiya
Getting desperate now I'd do anything to find out more !!
What I have so far is Frederick Taylor b.1894 (according to Marriage cert) Father George Taylor miner
His sister is Emma Taylor b.1898 (according to marriage cert) father George Henry Taylor miner
other children for George are Martha, Mary, Edith, Edward, Albert, William
Not very much to go on I know

Struggling to find a family that matches the info you've given...
Where did the marriages take place?
-
62 Hill Street, Bilston, Staffordshire
George W Taylor Head M 40 Ironworker Puddler Staffs Coseley Bilston
Rose H Wife M 39 Staffs Pelsall "
Clara G daur S 8 " Coseley "
Mary A daur 3 " " "
Emma J " 2 " Brosley?Bradley? "
RG13; Piece: 2689; Folio: 45; Page: 28
I know there's no Frederick but there is quite a gap between Clara and Mary A, enough for another child in between, perhaps staying with grandparents?
The addresses from the marriage certificate and witnesses details might help.
Do youhave any idea whether the other children are older or younger than Frederick and Emma?
-
Hiya MaryA & short_rach
Yes perhaps Frederick could be slotted in there, never heard of Clara mentioned but Emma & Mary thats tonnes more than I had to go on Thank you so much.
The marriages I have were in Yorkshire, but it is said they were all born in Stafford and moved for the mines.
Haven't got a clue on the ages all that is known is Mary and Emma were very rarely apart and they looked like twins, which again fits into place with there ages on here.
Off to search the marriage for George W & Rose H hopefully before the 1881 may see if the children were older or younger on there ??
Oh so excited ;D
Thanks again

Hiya
George William Taylor = Rose Hannah Wall March quarter 1886 Dudley 6c 119
So that rules out the 1881 and finding them together
Lets see if the children can be pinpionted to Dudley
Then I will have to rob a bank !! Ha ha ha ha

:-\
It doesn't seem likley to me that George would be a puddler in 1891 and 1901, then move north for mine work. Seems a bit late to become a miner? And wasn't he george Henry on Emma's marriage certificate whereas this marriage and the 1901 census is for George William.

Hiya
I have found a different Rosehannah on the census that fits the marriage RG13 2691 11 14 with a couple of Walls with them
So unfortunatly gets me back to first base and really confused :'(
So still looking for a Marriage between George Henry (was on the marriage cert ) & a Rose ? or maybe not a Rose
There was a Frederick born in Dudley 1894 march quarter 6c 38 and an Emma Jane Sept 1898 Dudley 6c 66
Me getting too excited :'(
