1891 census:

RG12/2485/91/16
Back End, Moreton in Marsh

Henry GILLETT - Head - 49 - Gen Labourer
Ann - Wife - 20
Louisa - Dau - 18
William - Son - 13 - Plough Boy
Annie - Dau - 11
Alice - Dau - 8
(All born Moreton in Marsh.)

This is a likely marriage for William's parents:

Marriages Mar 1864

BROWN    Ann
GILLETT    Henry
Shipston 6d 674

You could confirm it by getting William's birth cert:

Births Dec 1877
GILLETT    William
Shipston 6d 692

Cross-checking the William with parents David and Caroline against the 1891 census, he has middle initial T, so I think he is the William Thomas GILLETT born in 1876.

well spotted - my goodness, theres 3 of em born a couple of years apart.

I'd say the only conclusive way of pinning him in the relevant census years is to get his Marriage Cert and get his Fathers name verified ......
