Hi Just wondered if you could look up 1851 Stow, Census for the families of
John & Dorothea Dallas ( Daughter named Hannah)
also
William & Margaret Thomson (Son named James)
I believe them to be from Stow.

Sorry I haven't been back for a while but I have some info if you are still interested:
Stow census 1851 - John Dallas age 28 Railway Lab. born Crieff, Perthshire, address Dryburn.  Wife Dorathae age 24 born Bowden, Roxburghshire.  Daughter Hanah age 9 months born Stow, Midlothian.  I have copied spellings as they are in my list, note that there is a note beside the name Dallas that the original document was unclear so this is a guess at the name/spelling. 
There are lots of Thomsons, one William and 3 James's but no Mgt.  Do you have any more inof as there are to many to list.

We know Margaret Bruce aged 21 was living with her family in Stow at the time of the census i 1851. She married Adam Dunsmore some time the following year & their first child again Adam arrived in 1853. We cannot find their marriage or where Adam was in 1851. Could you see if he was in Stow in the 1851 census? Thank you.

Sorry but there are no Dunsmore's in the Stow 1851 census.  :(

Hi I'm seeking Lawsons from Temple. The names I have are John Lawson born 1807 Temple married Isabella Ketchen from Eddleston 29th May 1829, would be interested in any details concerning them or indeed other Lawsons in that area. John's Father was possibly David Lawson b.10th June 1782 at Temple and was possibly the son of Alexander Lawson born around 1758 and Elizabeth Selkirk. can you help ? Thanks Bob Lawson

Sorry Kate none with that name, I have a register of all those buried at Temple with headstones and photographs, I am working on the old burial register of those without headstones at the moment.
