I just asked the oracle (Mum) & she said it is off Trafalgar St,near the Technical College :)

Looking at my map of Brighton, there is a Whitecross street of Trafalgar Street, but still carnt see a Redcross street ???

Looking at Google maps it is the small dead end between Whitecross and Pelham Street.

Go to A2A web site and enter Redcross street,they were under compulsory order from Brighton council,end of 1960s

Just seen your post about 8 Redcross St.
My Grandmother, my Father and Mother all lived at No 16.
I also lived there when I was a young child, we moved from there in 1961/62.
It is now a car park.
If you go on google earth, it will take you to the spot.
Do not have many memories of the street,
I think there was a shop on the street, I used to sit on the counter,
and the houses opposite had steps in front,
Did your family live on this street?
I only have two photo's taken on the street, they are close ups and do not show what the street was like.
If you do manage to get a pic would love a copy, if possible.

Electoral Rolls Brighton 1950's
