hello
here are the military papers for Charles Percy Bagnall for WW1 - wife is Annie Victoria Bagnall. They are in Ontario in 1918

Do you have any idea when he came to Canada, if he had relatives here, etc.
If you have any other clues there may be more information to be found.
Good luck

Hi Trevor,
Not sure if you are still looking for information on your Charles Bagnall, but I found one in 1911 who states that he arrived in Canada in 1909.

i am afraid that is where i am stuck

In 1918 on his WWI papers he has listed his wife living at "Military Hospital" Guelph. I'm not sure where that would be, there are/were only 2 hospitals in Guelph. My sister is a nurse at the Guelph General Hospital, so I'll ask her what she knows.

Hi Trevor,
While I was out at the Library this evening, I went through the Ontario Marriage Index for your Charles Bagnall and found the following:
Groom: Charles P. Bagnall
Place of Event: Toronto, Ontario
Date: February 25, 1913
It's only an index, so I requested the microfilm that the original marriage registration is on which will show the bride and other information. It only took about 1 1/2 weeks to get, so I will let you know when it comes.
Also, my sister is going to check with one of the Doctors she works with who is into military history, so perhaps he may shed some light on the "Military Hospital" in Guelph.
