What other info do you have on William John Jackson?Do you possibly have his Marriage certificate giving his father's name?I did find a Birth for William John, however it states his mother's maiden name was Jones,so it could be difficult!

As a sporting choice, after looking on North Wales BMD,I found the Marriage of a William Jackson and a Catherine A Jones to have taken place at Shotton St Ethelwold in 1923.The GRO equivalent for the Marriage is,July Quarter Hawarden Registration District,Volume 11b,Page 400.

Thinking again about the matter.Your first priority should be to order the Birth Certificate for William John Jackson. This will give you the Mother's full name. The GRO details are,Hawarden Registration District January Quarter 1936,Volume 11b,Page 248.
