Title: Prittlewell/ Benfleet Marriages Look Up Please

I am hoping someone has access to marriages for Prittlewell and Benfleet before 1838.

The marriage is between William Mott and Eleanor ? Unfortunately I don't know the brides surname. Their first child was baptized at St Mary Benfleet at the beginning of 1838, so I'm assuming they were married a year or two before.

According to census information, Eleanor came from Prittlewell, she may have married William there but it's possible the marriage took place at St Mary Benfleet.

Sorry to be so vague, but that it the only information I have to go on.

These names ring a bell and I think someone else was querying something about them sometime in March. Have a scroll back in the older threads and see if you can find it.

When I visited the essex record office for Prittlewell Look ups I was told to approach the churches records as they did not hold them.

There were other searches and replies on here for 'Mott' but none of them are relevant to what I'm looking for, thanks anyway.

Ringrose. If you look on SEAX quick find registers it looks as though Prittlewell must have handed over quite a bit now.
