Hello there :)
Just seeing if anyone can help, the details are a bit vague....
William Bosley b 1830 Hungerford is shown as married to a Mary Ann b. 1832 in the 1861 census. I think I have a marriage for them in June 1848 in Bradfield (is this the right area?) and if so her maiden name is Simpson. The 1861 census is uncler as to where Mary Ann is from other than it has "chapel" in it. Are there any Mary Ann Simpsons in Berkshire in 1841 around the right age?
Any help gratefully received!

Bradfield is about twenty miles east of Hungerford. That is on the other side of Newbury and nearly in Reading.

Census says Chapelrow.
Chapelrow is a village/hamlet in Berkshire, near Bucklebury.

While Chapelrow is in Bucklebury parish it is almost the same distance from Bradfield.

Hello,
In 1851 at Cresswell's Brow, Tilehurst there is a William Boseley 23 a tilemaker born Hungerford with wife Mary Ann 20 Bucklebury.
This looks like your couple. They have a 5 year old Thomas Selwood b Chaddleworth as a visitor. If this should prove to be your couple and if you ever find a relationship with Thomas Selwood I would be very grateful for the information. I am sure he is one of mine but can't find a link with Chaddleworth.
Regards

Sorry, I meant to say that the visitor was Henry Sellwood age 5. One of my Selwoods (George 1818 Bucklebury) did marry an Elizabeth Simpson but she was from East Garston
Just down the road from William and Mary Ann Boseley in Tilehurst was my 2nd great grandfather, Thomas Sellwood, so I am sure there is a connection somewhere.
Sorry if I waffled
