Here is the Hardiman family in 1901, next door to the Gilletts.

William Hardiman 54 Ord Ag ALb bn M-in-M
MAry Ann 47 bn B-on-Hill
Willie 13
AMry 11
Lily 8
Eliza 3
Walter 2      all children bn B-on-Hill

But I dont think that Rosa Alice was nee Hardiman at all - see marriage detail I gave you.

Rose Alice PEACH birth Jun qtr 1880, Shipston, 6d 718

1881 census has her aged 1, the youngest daughter of Thomas and Esther PEACH, at Bourton on the Hill, Gloucestershire.
1891 as Rosa aged 11

William HARDIMAN married Mary Ann CHADBAND Dec qtr 1887 Shipston

William Gillett appears to be the son of Henry GILLETT and Ann BROWN

Thomas PEACH married Esther MALBON

Can't see any Hardiman connection as yet

Thomas PEACH married Esther MALBON

Hi

I do not think that this particular Thomas Peach did marry Esther Malbon. I think it was more likely to be Hester Hopkins in the right district at about the right time.

But still cannot see a Hardiman connection ???

Here is the same Hardiman family in 1891, no sign of a 12 yr old Rosa.

RG12 2484 140 9

1891
Bourton on Hill
William Hardiman 43 bn M-in-M
Mary Ann 34 bn B-in-H
Edward 17
William 3
Mary 1

sorry - bit delayed posting this as plumber arrived - others have found more evidence that she was not a Hardiman in the meantime!
I will post anyway, as it adds to the evidence!
