My Grandfather Walter Henry Frederick Hibberd operated a bakery at 128 Westbourne Street, Hove from 1911 until at least 1921 and my Father Frank Walter Campain Hibberd worked there on leaving school c1914.
!. Does anybody have either Walter or Frank in their trees, or any info on either of them?
2. Does anybody have any info on sources for old photographs of Westbourne Street?
all the best

Thank you very much indeed Carole :)
I'm still hoping somebody might have some old pics of Westbourne Street. The building is still there although it has been drastically altered. On the other hand the house the Hibberds lived in in Blatchington Road looks just as it must have looked when they were there.
all the best

This is weird and I wonder if there is some connection. I have a John Hibberd b.1805 in Monkton coombe, Somerset who married an Elizabeth Towgood b.1807 who was born in Steyning. Does that ring any bells?
