My surname interests in the Warwickshire area are
Boneham - 1800+ Wasperton, Barford, Solihull
Harriet Smith from Charlecote around 1820s
Catherine West from Wasperton b around 1792
Mary Ann Hewin - 1870s
Bennet - Wasperton - 1800+
Charlotte Bister around 1830s
Parsons - Knowle - 1780+
Goddard - 1800+ Moreton Morrell
Probin/Probyn - 1800+ Bham
Harold Stanger - 1900+
Kirby - 1800+ Solihull

:) I am descended from the Probin family in Birmingham.
As it was an uncommon surname most in Birmingham were related to each other.
My gt.gt grandfather was James Probin (born 1823). He married Emma Taylor on 19 Sep 1841.
James' father was Moses Probin (1783-1857). He married Maria on 23 Jul 1805.
James' son was George Samuel Probin (1856-1945), my gt. grandfather, but although he was born in Birmingham he moved to London before the 1881 Census.
I have quite a bit of information on those and other Probins if you require it.

do you remember me, pauline walker, I live in Spain, you kindly sent me a Ged Com file of the Probin Family, since we last corresponded I have had a harddrive failure and lost a lot of my family research, documents, and pictures. I managed to find a post on RootsChat by you and hope that you could re-send the Ged Com File to me at (*) it is a new email address from the one you have, which was (*). Have you checked and posted your surname interests in the surname interests table? Just click on "surnames" at the top of the page. You are much more likely to find a match by that method.

Thank you for the advice, I am new to posting and realise I should have not left email addresses.
I have had a reply from Gill and hopefully I will try and delete my post.
