Do you know where they lived in Aus?

Knowing that may give us a lead to suggesting what sites have bdms in Aus etc.

Incidentally, I have HILLIERs in Somerset nr Frome.

There are several other Hilliar children born at about that time in Hungerford according to the IGI Hungerford batch, to a father George and mother Priscilla.

It looks like you have cracked a 20 year mystery for me the story came down through the family that my Gt. Grandfafather met Mary in a Workhouse and then brought her out here to Australia to give her a better life, he ended up Superintendent for Qld. Railways and they had nine children and went on to acquire quite a good amount of personnel wealth, Mary certainly made sure her children did not have the life she had, the story goes through the family that she was very astute with money but at the sama time very fair.
I am indebted to you and this list for cracking this mystery for me thank you all so much.
Bev. From Aussie.
