it is quite important to post middle names if you know them
these are possible birth regs for lawrence Victors siblings -if you know them to be different please correct
you can look up the ref on FreeBMD
all reg W Derby district
John Joseph Sept qtr 1885
Lillian Beatrice Dec qtr 1889
Edith Margaret Jun qtr 1891
Leonard Stanley Sept qtr 1896
Albert Edward Jun qtr 1901
was the brother Robert you mentioned Robert grimshaw Scarth
If so his birth was reg Dec qtr 1887 W Derby

I can't find John Jennings Scarth pre1891 but wonder if this could be his parents marriage
Marriages Jun 1855
JENNINGS Catherine Peat Stepney 1c 842
SCARTH John Baikie Stepney 1c 842
IGNORE - 1861 and 1871 found for the above - John T Scarth b 1855
-
He's a mystery ???
Think the purchase of the marriage cert is necessary to get further back - or his birth cert
Suz
-
Hi
Birth cert would be better - I have a sneaky feeling no father will be shown
-
i thought that too, Carole, -looked up John jennings -but nothing
maybe John was brought up using his mum's married name -whatever that might be?
Suz

This Scarth family is descended for the Scarths of Orkney. I suggest that you post a message on the SCARTH list where one other at least has connections
