Would be grateful if someone could look up a marriage for the following:

Thomas Bolshaw  & Ellen?  possibly Middlewich?

Would be grateful for any Bolshaw marriages

Have you got an idea of what year we are talking about.

I have Bolshaws in my tree too, mainly Cheshire - only related to me by mariage  :)

My ex mother in law was a Bolshaw.

Date around 1790 - 1799, had problems posting today, computer is tired from too much family research!

where are your Bolshaw's from in Cheshire?

I have Lavinia Bolshaw born 1855 Congleton, Cheshire, daughter of Thomas Bolshaw born abt 1810 Cranage, Cheshire and Hannah Hassall born abt 1814 Congleton, Cheshire.

Lavinia married Samuel Kennerley.

Hi, I'm new to this and wanted to start family tree looked at you posts about bolshaw and just wondering how recent you have on bolshaw my mum's maiden name was bolshaw my grandad was Derek bolshaw married to Margaret I don't no any further back than my grandparents.

Hi DiBarley, welcome to rootschat.

Did your grandfather Derek die in Kendal in 2012, and your grandmother Margaret E  born 21/10.1921
did she die Dec 2006 Kendal.

I think that this could be their marriage

Herbert D Bolshaw married Margaret E Nicholson Wigton Registration district.Cumberland
in 1943.

Herbert D Bolshaw was b. 1922 Congleton Registration district.

Thank you for replying, yes my grandparents died in Kendal no wonder I couldn't find my grandad, i always new him as Derek.
