Title: WILSON, Gortaloughan and Mullaghmeen Townlands, County Fermanagh
Post by: Gwyneth on Saturday 29 March 08 14:24 GMT (UK)
Anyone with information re: a William WILSON with sons: Robert and John. He may have also had a granddaughter, Rebecca WILSON, daughter of Robert and Jane, born in 1838.

I would love to hear from any WILSON descendants of Robert, John, William from County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland circa 1800 to 1875.

Hi
This is not my direct line....but I know of a Mary Richey/ie who married a James Wilson...in Fermanagh. They had about 11 children.
I believe they immigrated to Australia....with possibly some children staying behind and some going to Australia.

It would most likely have been around that time frame.

My great-grandfather, Christopher Black WILSON, was born in Lisbellaw, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh in 1864 and immigrated to Philadelphia USA sometime before 1890 when he was married there.  All I know about his father was that his name was James and his mother's surname was Black, hence his middle name.  Is this of any help?
