Title: Rev Ambrose Salisbury, Enuid Hall, Staffs
Post by: robbyd on Thursday 13 January 05 21:19 GMT (UK)
Hi l wonder if anyone could help me with a puzzle of sorts?.

The Rev Ambrose salisbury was the rector at St Petronella church, Whepstead, Suffolk from the mid 1600`s up untill c1788, in this church there is a memorial stone floor plaque that reads "Here lyeth ye body of frances Sal?sbury, widdow lat(sic) wife of Ambrose Grey E of (?)Enuid Hall Staffordshire who dyed 25/ of march 1700 aged 93 years".

I have tried google for "Enuid Hall" but got no hits.

If anyone can help me l would be extremely grateful just the location of Enuid hall would be fantastic...........sorry l`m going on.

Regards
Robert
