There are hundreds of Bedfords on the 1851 census. Think you may have to be a little more specific  :)

I have found Edward H Bedford only.  I am now of the opinion that George S Bedford may have been in Paddington, Middlesex area.  Paul Austen bedford may have gone under the name of Austen Bedford.

Paul Austen Bedford b. c 1803 Shalford, Surrey (he was in holy orders)

George Sale Bedford b. 1816 He was a senior clerk in Paddington in 1858

Catherine Franes D E bedford b. 1815 London.  She is married to Paul (above). They had a son born in Honiton in 1846.  However, Paul died in France in 1866 - maybe they were over in France in 1851.  That is what I amtrying to work out.
