Hi,
I am looking for any children of Walter Breedon who married Rovina Woodruff in 1916, April/May/June Qtr.
I am afraid that I don't have names of children but understand from a cousin that they were male children of this couple..
Hope someone can help, I know it is a bit vague ::)

Hi Calmar
Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.
Have you made any progress, or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?
Look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes

Hi Calmar
Been through the Sheffield births up to 1925 and none with the mother's maiden name as Woodruff
Only mothers maiden names listed were Bennet, 2
Newton Morris and Breedon (yes Breedon)
Could she have been married before or did they move out of Sheffield all together?

Hi Catswiskers,
Thanks for taking the trouble to look up this family for me.
As far as I am aware, they stayed in Sheffield. Another of my relatives talked about having seen Rovina near where she lived when I was quite small. I don't think she had been married before either. I think that would have been mentioned within the family.

CAn w narrow this down then, where in Sheffield did she live? Rovina isn't a common name, she can't disappear.

Hi,
Living at Suffolk Lane on 1901 with parents. Married in Ecclesall Bierlow District of Sheffield June quarter 1916. Have not got actual certificate to give me an address, but I would say it was around the centre of Sheffield, near Railway Station as her father worked for the Railways. She lived in Heeley district in the 1940's.
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Margaret
