Interested in finding more information on this family.  George Priestley married Florence May Cottrill, they had 3 children Donald c 1913, basil c. 1920 and Barbara c 1921.  Any information greatly appreciated.

Whereabouts were your Priestleys from? i have some in my tree from Ashton under Lyne, but do not have a George.

I have information on Florence, parents etc.  Its the children of George & Florence that I would like more information on.  I do believe they lived in Ashton on Mersey after 1900.  This family is related to me through my G.Grandfather.  Florence's father William Cottrill was my Great Grandfathers brother.

Basil died in 1997, and the death entry gives his exact date of birth:

Basil Stuart PRIESTLEY - b. 16 12 1919; d. Aug 1997, Stockport, Cheshire aged 77.

Thank you for the information, that's weird to think I grew up in Cheshire, never knowing that we had relatives a couple of miles away.  Families are sure strange!!!!!
