Title: 1851 Battle look up pse - HOLLANDS

Hi, I am hoping to find  George HOLLANDS on the 1851 census. He was born either 1847 or 1849 in Battle.

His father is listed on George's death cert as Richard Hollands.

George lived most of his life, and died, in Tunbridge Wells. He is listed on the 1881 and 91 census there. I am hoping to find where he lived prior to those dates and who his parents etc are.

Try the Sussex OPC web site

http://www.sussex-opc.org

They have an OPC for Battle, although he does not list anything for the 1851 its always worth asking as he is likely to have contacts etc

I have checked the 1851 census for Battle and surrounding district but unfortunately your George or father Richard do not appear.

There are over 40 entries for Holland / Hollands, but not a single George or Richard amongst them
