I'm trying to trace ancestors in Gloucestershire. 
I have a Richard Barnet born 1844 at winchcombe Glousester, died Barnsley Yorkshire 1924.
His father was William Barnet 1813 b gloucester.
His father William Barnet b 1790 in St Michael Gloucester New Jersey USA. and died in Winchcombe Gloustershire England in 1873.  His wife Elizabeth ? b 1793 in Twyning Gloustershire died 1884 Winchcombe.
His father John Barnet and Mary ?  born in Brooklyn Kings, NewYork.
Could anyone enlighten me anymore on these ancestors in gloucestershire and especially the ones from the USA.

Is it just coincidence that they lived in Gloucestershire UK and Gloucester USA?

Thank you Tricia.    Ancestry.co.uk came up with this :- William Barnet 1790 was born in Gloucester New Jersey and died in Winchcombe Gloucestershire England. Not coincidence as his marriage tallies with the rest of ancestors down to present day.
