thanks the problem i seem to have at present is thomas hussey born 1858 parents were thomas and ann  who maiden name was england from chideok dorset. thomas who was married to ann the only one i can find is the son of john and joan follett born abt 1816 thomas is on 1841 census ancestry with john and joan although it does say jane but had a look at oringnal and it was bad writing, but then have found john and joan on roots web family tree and there is no thomas, but there is no further back than john, so i dont seem to be able to connect him with husseys there, they all did live at burton bradstock in the harbour houses thomas is there with ann and a 9 year old thomas but this is not 58 thomas as i belive the 9 year old died and they had another thomas in 58

 :) Hi Lisa,
Joan Follett 1784 was my Gt, gt, gt Grandfathers'( Adam Follett 1779-1846)  sister. He was a witness at their wedding in 1806.
Don't  know a great deal about the Husseys, apart from an earlier marriage between them and the Folletts - Joanna Hussey 1778-? & Robert Follett 1771-1861, married Symondsbury, Dorset May 16th 1804
I have Folletts going back to 1688 ( my 6x Grandfather) should you wish them.
Yours:  Peter Jon Sprake-Follett
