Hello Everyone,
This is Florence Hatherly 1870-1926, my husband’s GGG Grand Mother.
I am not sure when it was taken, I have been told that perhaps around 1900?
This was scanned from a small photo and so I am not sure what can be done?
I would be grateful for any improvement...
Thanking you for taking the time to look it over.
Cheers

Hi Darlene
I've had a quick play but it would be better if you could rescan at 300 ppi as it's hard to make out the face.

Here's a quick attempt from me

Hi Darlene, 1900 is about right, although it could be a bit later...the open neckline was popular from around 1910 or so, and the skirt looks like the hemline has started to come up a bit...I'd guess just a bit later than 1900 for those reasons....
Cheers,

If and when the mystery is solved i will get a better scan and re post...

Hello China,
You are a wealth of information...
For some reason I always feel more connected to a photo when I have an approximate year?
Thank you so much for taking the time...
Cheers
