I would appreciate any information about a Thomas Carlin who moved to Coleraine and set up a delph shop in Long Commons. Could anyone help me or direct me in this research please

have you tried the Ulster Historical Foundation for birth or marriage details for Thomas?

Although the data base is not yet complete I have had some success in finding my family there. Only Antrim & Down are on line at present but you can apply to the Foundation direct for other Counties.

Your Thomas Carlin do you have any dates for him? My Carlin's left Londonderry for Wishaw in Scotland sometime in the 1840 Regards Kate

I don't know how common a name Carlin is but there were a number of them who came to British Columbia in the late 1800's.
