Could someone please look up the following 2 people for me.
Lionel Francis Hains (wife Agnes May) from Beaufort, and his son
Lionell Robert Frances Hains/Haines born 1911 in Beaufort. Married Vera May Lucas in 1931 (in Melbourne)

also on the 1909 at Beaufort are
HAINS Percy F T Miner and Eunice HAINS.
There is nothing on the electoral rolls for Lionel Francis Robert HAINS.....or I should say I haven't found anything.

For a man who my father in laws father - I know very little about him - except that he was a bastard and drank alot!!!

I am still looking for Lionel Robert Francis - I remember from the bdm indexes how many variations there were on on the HAINS name. :) ;D Oh do you what his occupation was?

No idea - and am afraid to ask going by the recpetion I got from my father in law when I asked him a bit about his father.

Should be in one of the northern suburbs of Melbourne.

Not sure if these are the right ones for you but here's what I found in 1936:
Maxwell Robert Haines, 3 Rich Street Abbotsford - assembler
Vera May Haines, 3 Rich Street Abbotsford - textile worker.

Lionel Francis Hains was my GF, and it sounds like you've done a bit of research on the Hains side. Can you tell me where you fit in? I think I saw "Percy" but referring to Percy Robert of Percy Frederick?
BTW I went to Vera May's funeral yesterday.
