Not sure whether Strand comes under London or not, but if so could someone please lookup to see who was living at 69 Strand in the 1861 Census.
I'm trying to trace the Innes family who returned from Canada at some point between June 1860 and December 1861. One child was born in December 1861 at 69 Strand.
Thanks

No George and Sabra on index but this contains a Caroline and may perhaps be his mum???
By the way what jobs do you expect them to be doing and what ages?
If you think this looks a possible I'll have a look at the actual image later today.
The only other George Innes as 30 and had a wife Elizabeth.they lived in Marylebone. But don't forget this is only a partial index.
Someone else might be able to look them up by address alone.I'm fairly new at this 1861 lark and haven't worked out how yet :(

Thanks Carol,
I don't think this is my Innes'. George would have been around 35 at the time and definitely married to Sabra.
Thanks for looking anyway. Hopefully the Strand address will come up trumps with someone else!

Hello,
I notice that you have not responded to the re-query to ask if you are still looking for the information requested in your original post. I am assuming therefore that you are no longer looking for this information and will move this topic into the Completed Requests section.
If this is not the case, please PM me and I will move it back into the Lookup Requests and hopefully someone will attempt to answer it.
