Would love to see the 1871 census entry for this family:

Christiana Garnett wife 35 Carlton
Elizabeth H Smith dau 16 cotton spinner Carlton
Jane Smith dau 13 cotton winder Carlton
Matthew Garnett son 11 Carlton
John Gill Garnett son 8 Carlton
Sarah Ann Garnett dau 5 Carlton
Emma Garnett dau 3 Carlton
Alfred Garnett son 1 Carlton
They were still in Carlton in Craven in West Yorkshire in 1881. I think Christiana was actually born in Beamsley

Hi Mary I am terribly sorry I neglected to add places of birth to my transcription...My only excuse is this is because it is the last thing u c when u r looking at the scan is the POB .....So sorry I added the occupations and I didnt realise I had not added the Places of birth(till I saw your reply here)..The entry was over 2 pages and I guess I moved on to the second page without realising I had not finished the first..Please note I have amended the above entry with these details. So sorry......Not that they really help cas they just say Carlton but at least u know this is what the entry says even if it is incorrect....Sorry for my Booboo :'( Kris

These Garnett's are in my tree. Joseph apparently is my 1st cousin four times removed. He married Christiana Smith in 1849.
Joseph's grandfather William Garnett born circa 1759 is my great x4 grandfather. I have lots of research into this side of my tree, and am happy to share / help each other?
