Hi i have just joined and have noticed we have the same family tree. I have just started and am hooked. My husbands line is from Benjamins Brother George Roffey 1816 who married Eliza Head and then from James George 1857 and so on would love to hear from you.

Not my family but a friends also descended from George W Roffey and Eliza Head.
We seem to have a difference - the line I researched then carried on through their son Henry Alfred Roffey and his wife Julia Winter BUT the only James I have is James William born 1855 2 years after Henry.
Think we had better compare notes!

I have George and Eliza having
George 1839 - married Elizabeth
Elizabeth 1841
Margaret and Sophia
Benjamin in 1847- married Marian and had 5 children
Sarah 1849
Emily Matilda 1850
Richard 1853
Henry A Roffey in 1855 - married Julia Winters and had 6 children
James in 1857 - married Elizabeth Davies and had ? 4 children one being George James Roffey 1884. George 1884 then married Jane Townsend and had
James Roffey 1907 which was my husbands grandad.
then Emily in 1858
Frederick 1860
Have only done this in the last couple of days so i don't know if correct. It gets so confusing especially when they use the same names! Saying me who has just called my son George!
