Hello,
I'm trying to find information on Arthur Stanley Wills born 1890 Brixham in Devon. It's believed he was a baker for the Coop in the Gloucester area. He married Florence Munday known as Flossie possibly from Bristol in 1912. There were two children, **,- 1925 and **,-1930.
If there's anybody out there who thinks they may be able to help or even knew of them, I would be very gratefull.
Brian.

Brian,
If they are "lost" relatives perhaps you should go to http://www1.salvationarmy.org.uk/uki/www_uki.nsf
The Sally Ann has been tracing lost relatives since 1885.
Besides which, they may not wish to be found or indeed, what assurance can we have that you are a relative. The S.A. takes all that into consideration.

Chas

Chas,
Thanks for the reply.
I do appreciate your concern, this particular branch of my family are not so much "lost" more "mislaid", the interest is purely for family history purposes only which I thought this web site was all about, but perhaps I was wrong!
Cheers from Devon.

Hi Willseetoit
RootsChat mainly concerns itself with helping to find ancestors, rather than living relatives.
Having said that, we have a link here which you might find helpful
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,261434.0.html
If you have access to the full GRO indexes you can search for children born with the correct parents surnames in the right area but it can be a time-consuming process, even when you know what you are looking for!
Of course, posting here might just mean that someone finds your interest via a search engine - good luck with that!
Regarding Arthur and Florence (have I seen another thread by you about them?) have you got their marriage certificate? That would be very helpful in tracing them back in time.
kind regards, Arranroots ;)

Hi,
Looks like Arthur was in the Navy, you can download his records for £3.50 here,

Hi Daisy,
That was an excellent piece of information, Totnes was the registration district for Brixham, it appears that our Stanley (Arthur) was born the back end of December 1889 but registered early 1890. This is the first time of knowing about any of his F.W.W. service.
Thanks,
Brian.
