Hi All, Just found these great sites for anyone with a war bride on their tree. Go to www. geocities.com/us_warbrides/
here you can have a lookup at no charge and if your bride is found you will have the date, ship`s name, bride`s age, plus for a very nominal fee of $5.00 US a copy of the manifest. This same info from the NARA at Washington DC will cost you $10.00. There is also a WW2 war bride site for Canada at www.Canadian.warbrides.com/ships.asp. Both these sites have a means of getting a picture of the ship.
