				Hi Viv
It looks like:
Henyaguberdderyn or Henyaguberddey?
Hen is old and aderyn is bird but the bit in the middle seems odd  :-\
Could you give the full census ref so that I could have a look, please?

The description puts it in the Cilan area. I'm checking maps now to see if i can see any of the others on the page.

There's a farm now called Ysgubor Hen on the current OS map
Grid Centre: SH 304 250
Just north of Mynydd Cilan
Henysgubor - Ysgubor Hen seems plausible  :)

				Hi Gaget,
you have just solved the problem - the enumerator obviously couldn't understand what they were saying -
Could it be Ysgubor ddegwm  or Henyagu ddegwm?

				Yer welcome, Viv  :)
Last time you had to ask your mother  ;)

				Your right there, Gadget,
Won't need to bother her this time  ;D

It's fairly definately Hen ysgubor ddegwm. Degwm is the Welsh word for Tithe - I think this was a payment due to the church, originally paid in grain?
Ysgubor Ddegwm is Tithebarn, Hen ysguborddegwm is Old Tithebarn.
