Title: TILLERY family
Post by: bethkealey on Thursday 17 January 08 19:19 GMT (UK)
This is my first visit.  I am researching my "Tillery" family.  I have traced them to Scotland.  I was told the family originated in Wales but cannot find proof.  The name may have been modified from the orginal.  Is anyone familiar with this lineage?

Hello bethkealey, welcome to rootschat, you would be better posting this on Wales general under 'new topic' this is a pinned link for info only, - that seems to be broken.

If possible, post approx. dates that may help your request, also how your info came about with the connection to the  "Tillery" name within Wales, it all helps to answer what you seek...if at all possible...

Best wishes

Cas

Hi Beth

Sorry to make your head spin!

It might be an idea to give us a few more clues, as Cas suggests.

There are various places with Tillery in their names in Wales, so it might well be from around these/ those parts!

kind regards, Arranroots  ;)
