Hi All
This is a long shot but here goes Has anyone got Nuttalls and Duerdens in there tree
In 41
John Nuttall 1797 Whalley Lancs
Ann Nuttall 1802 Long Preston
William Duerden 1826 Lancs
John Duerden 1832 Whitewell Yorkshire
they live in the parish of Whalley at The Lodge
In 51 William has gone and John is down as nephew trying to find the family connection between John and the Nuttalls
When John marries he called his son John Nuttall Duerden.
Cannot find Johns mother or father
Have been going round in circles with this family
Thank You Janet

IGI there is
Ann Duerden
b. 12 Spt 1802
c.3 oct 1802
Long preston lancs
Parents Robert/Margaret
Could this be Ann Nuttall?
Maybe her brother (or sister if umnmarried) was parent of William and John
Only a possibility
?????

Hi,
Baptism of a John Duerden, son of Mary Duerden (no father stated) on 11th December, 1831 at Whitewell. Shame I was rather hoping it would be an Ann.

Hi Janet
Have you tried this website: http://www.rayduerden.co.uk/index1.htm
My paternal grandmother was a Dearden, apparently just different spellings of the same name.

Hi,
Had a look at John`s Baptism today at the library. It says John Duerden Illigit,
Son of Mary Duerden, Abode Thorney Holme with in the Parish of Slaidburn. In the profession column it had Spinster.
