Title: Northallerton look up please
Post by: molly78 on Monday 07 January 08 12:48 GMT (UK)
Can anyone do this for me please?

Baptism Elizabeth and Harriet King (daughters of Robert & Jane King) baptised same day 30th Nov 1823 St Mary's Whitby.

Can you please check if the register mentions where and when the girls were born?

Thanks in advance

Molly

Hello Molly

This week I have started to look for Georgina Watson who is listed on the 1891 census living at the Childrens Rescue Home,  Shaw Street, Liverpool.  I wonder if you would be kind enough to share any information you have on the home with me.

Many thanks

Carol

Hi Carol,

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply-I haven't used this site for some time. I drew a blank with this one really. I tried Liverpool archives, the central library, various internet sites etc and there doesn't appear to be any records existing. I can only assume that when the home was torn down (or bombed-not sure which) the records were destroyed as well. I don't even know for sure what might have happened to my ancestor that was at the home.

Good luck!

Molly
