Good Evening and Happy New Year!

I would be grateful for information regarding the marriage of Dugald (other possible spellings) McPhail and Jane (Elizabeth) Warren which is shown as having taken place on 2nd Feb 1829  in Family Search. I am especially interested in any indication of the parents or father of Dugald McPhail, my GGG Grandfather, and names of witnesses may help me progress further. Dugald is shown to have been born in Argylleshire, Scotland in the 1861 English census.

I see in 1861 that he was born circa 1809

On IGI , extracted
DOUGALL MACPHAILL
born ; 23 jan 1809
christened 25 jan 1809
Campbeltown, Argyll
parents; Archibald MacPhaill and Margaret Milloy

I am not sure if he is yours.... What were all of his children named ..That may give us a clue.

Do you have him on all the censuses?
