Title: Patrick Byrnes and Mary Nolan
Post by: upmayo1969 on Tuesday 01 January 08 13:28 GMT (UK)
After some searching I have found that my great-great-grandmother was Mary Nolan from Ballaghaderreen.  This would have been before the town became a part of Roscommon.  I can not find a record of their marriage at all wondering if anyone knows where I could find this information.  Their first child was born in 1890.  This is all the information I have so far and any help would be greatly appreciated.

A Mary Byrne was married in Ballaghaderreen (Castlemore and Kilcolman) Parish in 1889. To find her spouse you could order film number 1279232 covering that parish from a Latter Day Saints Centre or request a photocopy of the certificate from http://www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm quoting the year only (credit card needed, 6 euros I believe).

Correction to my last, it should read Mary Nolan. Sorry.
