Thomas Pemberton- born Tilston, Cheshire 1820. (poss 1821.).

Thanks for your reply, CaroleW. The parent of Thomas Pemberton-father, was Samuel Pemberton.  I have the marriage certificate of Thomas which names his father as Samuel Pemberton.
Thomas's mother was Emma Hoskin.(maiden name of Emma has also been found in records as Hodgkinson...took a bit of rooting out I can tell you...).
I have an IGI refence which shows a Samuel Pemberton married a Elizabeth Beresford in March 1811. I have taken this Samuel and Elizabeth to be Thomas's father and mother but I'm not yet 100% certain of that-need  further matching evidence..)

This is all I could find on the BVRI - suspect this Thomas was illegit so probably not him

I think you mean his wife was Emma Hoskin

I don't know whether this info is of any relevance but here goes.

IGI has an 1834 christening in Bunbury for Charles Pemberton - son of Samuel & Elizabeth

1841 census for Bunbury - parish of Tilstone Fearnall -Address was Tilstone Bank

Elizabeth Pemberton 50 
Martha Pemberton 15 
Charles Pemberton 7 

A rather tenuous link but Thomas & Emma had a daughter Martha and a son Charles in 1861

This baptism record is related to my family line and this Thomas Pemberton was buried in 1822.  Just thought you might like to know :)
