Rosaline was born in North Clifton 1931 reg in March Qtr 1932. She married a Jack or John Carter of Lincoln. Would welcome a lookup for her marriage please

Her marriage could have taken place anytime from 1950 onwards and voluntary transcriptions for that period are very thin on the ground.
If you are unable to find the marriage on freebmd - which is an incomplete website - you will need to search the full GRO index which is available at your local main library or online if you have an Ancestry subscription. A large number of libraries also have free Ancestry access

If however, a member of the family is able to provide the actual year of her marriage, we will be happy to look it up and provide the GRO reference so you can obtain a copy of the marriage certificate

Thank you for advice Carole. Seems I will have to visit the approp' family history section. No one in the family has a clue as to her marriage date - even her two elderly bachelor brothers
